Folks,

I am using Word 2003.

Sometimes when I attach a document to an outgoing email, the "Attachments..." field is displayed and the filename is listed. Sometimes, however, it is embedded as an object in the body of the text. Why is this?

In previous versions I was able to see the "Attachments..." field even if there were no attachments. I could click on this button and navigate to select an attachment, exactly the way one can click on the "To:" button and navigate through the Address Book to select recipients. How do I display this "Attachments..." button in word 2003?

And finally, how do I display the "Bcc:" button so I can browse for these recipients? I know I can click on the To: button and then select recipients for To:, CC:, and Bcc:, but I want a separate button for each in the header.

Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

It depends on the message format. Rich text embeds in the body. HTML and
plain text don't.

Click the paperclip icon on the toolbar to insert a file.

Click the arrow to the right of the Options button to display the Bcc box.
