Attempt at deletion causes crash

I transfer an e-mail to the deleted items folder. Entourage crashes
when I attempt to open this folder. Entourage can be restarted but
problem remains. What can I do? First lines of crash log below.

Try turning off the Preview Pane. You should be able to open the folder if
it's a bad spam message that is causing the problem.
