Attempting Shared Session

I'm using a trail version of One Note and I'm trying to do a Shared Session
and it hasn't worked. My first questions is can I do a Shared Session with a
trial version.

The second question is how can I tell if I have Service Pack1 of One
Installed? I've done the Up-date and I'm told that there are no additional
up-dates. However, I"m wondering if this is the reason I can't share.

Third, it there a tutorial for One Note?

I think the product has a great deal of potential, but finding information
beyond the basics in nearly impossible. I think I'd like to use this product,
but I need to see it work.

The trial is fully functional, so your shared session issues should be
unrelated. What messges do you see when you try a shared session? Are
all of the machines on the same subnet/vlan? Are the firewall settings
on all machines allowing the OneNote shared session port in/out?

Do a Help | About in OneNote. The version string for SP1 is
"11.6360.6360 SP1". Any numbers less than 6360 means that you do not
have the latest version.

Thank you for your help. Being able to detemine if Service Pack1 was
installed made the difference. In spite of our going through the motions,
Service Pack1 did not install on one of the computer. However, after
installing it, we were able to share a session through the server.

Now I'd like to be able to share over the internet. Are you familar with a
site that has information on how to share over the net?
