Attendee availability indicators

When setting up a meeting request and to view if attendee is available, what does it mean when availability shows black lines (no information). For some attendees it shows the availability status e.g. blue for busy etc. but sometimes the "no infomration" come s up. what does it mean? How do I turn that on or off as the case may be

We are using Outlook 2000 and any help would be very appreciate

You might be scheduling beyond the invitees Published
Free/Busy time.
On that person's computer do the following in Outlook:
Tools | Options | Preferences tab | Calendar Options |
Free/Busy Options.

Check to make sure the Published Free Busy "months"
option is set to a high numbeer (e.g. 12 months). If it
is set to 2 months and you setup a recurring appt. that
lasts 4 months you will see the "no info" when viewing
free/busy.

If that is not the issue try running the "/cleanfreebusy"
switch while opening outlook.
