Attendee status problems

We just migrated to Outlook and Entourage a few months ago. Outlook
seems to be ok, but we are having issues with the attendee status
feature. When a person sends a meeting request to a group of people on

Macs, they are accepting the meeting, the meeting shows up on their
calendar, but when the sender looks at the attendee status, those users

show up as not accepted. We have 2 member servers. Any ideas? I've
been searching for solutions and have found none. Thanks.

Are the recipients of the invites replying when they accept the meeting
invitations? If the recipients choose not to reply (even "reply without
comments") then the sender will not receive any notification that the event
was accepted.

Outlook may hide this a little better, but sending invitations and the
accept/deny cycle (in Exchange) really depends on e-mail messages flying
back and forth.

Lori,

Try creating a new identity for one of the Entourage users and see if
attendee status works properly within the new identity. You can create a
new identity with the Entourage menu and Switch Identity... Set up the new
identity as the original identity. I had the attendee status problem and
creating a new identity was the fix.

If attendee status works using the new identity, you will have to go to the
next step of moving/exporting local mail messages, tasks, etc from the
original identity into the new identity.

I too am having this problem and I think it might be related to how the
exchange server processes invitations in conjunction with entourage. I do
know one thing: that sending an invitation using pop3/imap accounts will
give me a proper response.

Sorry for the cross post, but I think we need to get the exchange experts
and the entourage experts talking in order to resolve this.

Are any of you exchange experts familiar with this problem ?

Has anyone using entourage 2004 11.2.5 been able to get this feature to work
in conjunction with exchange 2003 ?

Thanks!

Luke
