Attendees have diappeared

I have a manager who has noticed that in some of his
appointments the attendees have disappeared. I ran
the /cleanfreebusy and /cleanreminders switches but this
did not correct this. While talking with the manager I
learned that he has recently gotten a new assistant and
that his former assistant has left the company. This
assistant was the person that created the appointments as
a delegate. I am pretty sure at this point that the
assistants accounts have been deleted. The people that
have been invited to the meetings are still showing the
meeting in their calander and so is the manager. The
manager is just miising the list of invited attendee's Is
there a way to recover this information?
