Normally one can define / display properties on a UML
element. However, properties defined on a Dependency
association in a deployment diagram are not displayable
and the properties checkbox is not selectable in Display
Options. I am trying to add a port property (port=80) to a
dependency stereotyped as <<HTTP>>.
Has anyone figured out a way to specify a visual
stereotype and, in effect, override the default UML icon?
Say, for example, you want to display a network node but
want to use a special Cisco icon.
Any good references to the innards of the UML stencil for
those who dare to customize it?
Thanks for your help.
