audio link slow and tiny

This is way out of my knowledge range but here I go. I added a link to a mp3
audio file and was told that when someone clicks on it that it will
automatically play. When I click on it on my computer on the website it takes
forever for it to open and when it does all I have is a control bar so tiny
you can barely see it. Can anyone help me with these two problems, in very
simple basic terms, because you really are dealing with a newbie?

It could be a large file. Mp3's contain a lot more info than say, Midi,
therefore a larger file size.
You can make the plugin control larger in FP design view, by resizing it -
drag the corners to whatever size you want.

Is it a pluggin you're using (under insert > web components), or is the MP3
just opening in your default media player like Windows Media Player? In that
case it is probably a user setting, and not something you can control
through the web site itself.

I saw two methods of adding audio, one click on link to play and one click on
to download. I want to give both options and I am using mp3. Is that the
best? I am using Adobe to edit audio with. Any help or suggestions would be
appreciated to help size file and ease!
