We continue to struggle with MSP changing Actual Work
entered using the Task Usage view in Project Pro. We
understand that some of this may be due to the total
entered Actual Work going over the total available hour
for a given day by calendar. There are instances,
however, that we completely fail to understand.
Because of this, we have created an Audit Report from our
work order system (where the actual hours are originally
entered) and are going back and comparing and correcting
hours from the beginning of June. The most recent
unclear effect was that the hours of audited days (the
check is being made day by day) did not seem to be the
same when the project was opened as they were the last
time it was saved. We have only a single operator.
Hours cannot be entered via PWA.
Does anyone know something that could cause this?
TIA,
Scott
