Audit Trail in Project Server 2003 environment

Tom

Is there a way to have an audit trail so that if need be,
we can determine which user modified what in a project.

Tom,
Not that I'm aware of. You have the field created, which
will have the date that the task is created but that's all.
A possible workaround could be:
- link a macro to each project via enterprise global
template
- let the macro autostart if project is opened in Proj Prof
- and save the project under a different version and name
it <original project name>&<username>&<date-time>
- if you want to analyse what has changed you can use the
compare Project versions toolbar in Proj Prof 2003 to
analyse what has changed.
It's a workaround, which requires some work but it should
be feasible.
I' ve checked to use Outlook journal for tracking but it
will give you only the link to the project and it's saved
for each user, not centrally.
Hopes this will give you some ideas.
Grtz Kurt
