Auomatically checkin for new mail?

[Retired in Savannah]

Just installed Outlook 2003 (student Ed) on new Sony laptop wih XP, and can
only get new e-mail to download by clicking Send/Receive. Did not have this
problem on my old W98 computer. What's the problem?

tools, send/receive - find the menu to define send and receive settings and
add a check to the option to check every xx minutes.
