Authentication & Active Directory

I am running Project Server 2002 on Win2000 in Win 2000 domain. I notice that
I can't integrate the logon accounts in Project server with Active Directory.
A user account must be created in Project server before a domain user can
logon using PWA. This causes more administrative tasks (creating user
accounts) in Project Server. Can we make it so that domain users can logon to
PWA without manually creating accounts in project server? For example,
Exchange Server integrates with AD and no seperate user list to maintain.
