Authentication issue with DMZ server

We have a server in our corporate dmz in a single server configuration. When I try and log on to project server in PWA from a computer on our network (using a project server log in), I am getting dialog box asking for authentication to that server. Help? Also, when I sign on as the administrator from the same PC (I enter the server credentials) and go to Admin, Manage Users, I cannot see any of the users. When I access PWQ from the server, I can then administer these users.

Hy Grant,

I have similar problem when i log on to server with different windows
account then my own, from my computer.

Windows stored that User Name and Password, and it was impossible for me to
logon to Project server, using my account.

If that is the issue, you should go to control Panel and delete logon
information from list "Stored User Names and Passwords" list. (Go to Control
Panel->User Accounts, Tab Advanced, click Manage Passwords)

Hope this will help

Documents are stored at Windows SharePoint services.

WSS is placed in other folder then project server, and it could be even at
different site or virtual server. It depends on your server configuration,
and settings you have entered during installation.

Documents tab in project server is only interface to Document Library that
is actually in WSS. It is same with Risks, and Issues list. You can enter to
those lists directly through WSS interface.

When you changed directory security to allow anonymous access on
projectserver folder, you probably didn't change security on asp pages,
which actually verify your credentials, so you were able to logon to Project
Server. Project server checks your credentials only during Login process.
But when you try to access to some information on WSS, they check your
credentials again, and since you are for project server authenticated as
Grant, and for web server you are anonymous user you have to login to WSS
again.

How does authentication occur when you try and access the shared document
folder. I am getting an authentication dialog box even though I gave full
rightsallow anonymous access. This enabled me to log into the site. I am still
getting a request to authenticate when I try and access the public folder
under the documents tab.
