Authenticity Number refused on reinstall of Office 2000

Thanks to a destructive worm, I had to format my hard
drive and start over. I'm using Win98SE because (as I
understand it) my Pentium4 500Mz processor and 13GB hard
drive wouldn't function very well with XP.
My problem now is with reinstalling Office 2000;although
I have the original Certificate of Authenticity, the
install wizard won't accept the product key as shown
thereon. It asks instead for the number on a "yellow
sticker," which I do not have. Any ideas?

You can contact MS for a replacement key:

http://support.microsoft.com/directory/phone.asp?sd=gn

If it's an OEM copy (provided with the PC) you
may need to contact that PC supplier for the key.

Hope this helps.
