I have just switched from Word X to Word 2004. I notice that when
making changes to documents that already have changes in them that my
changes get attributed to the other party who has made the changes as
soon as I hit save.
If original text is black and a person has marked up the document in
red, I start redlining in say blue, but when I hit "save" all the blue
changes to red and I can't tell what they changed and what I changed.
The authorship of all my changes switches to the other person who made
the red changes. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Neither Word
X nor any PC version of Word seems to do this.
Thanks,
Chris
