Hi,
Is there anyway we can set up Project Server so that for certain projects &
/ or administrative plans we can have team member timesheet updates
automatically accepted & updated into the Project plan?
For example, within our department we want a single administrative plan for
scheduling & recording actuals for holidays etc. (this gives us a central
place to view holiday plans and allows for people moving around different
teams depending on their project assignments). However, it is each person's
responsibility to obtain authorisation from their individual line manager
(usually by email) before they schedule their holiday on the plan. It would
therefore be an overhead for the single person nominally assigned as the
'manager' of this plan to have to accept & update all holidays for the whole
department (both when they are scheduled, and again when the actuals are
logged).
