auto advance to next field

I have the tab order set. But what I want is say if I
have to enter the date once I have done that I want it to
go to the next field in my tab order without me have to
press tab or enter

If you don't hit Tab or Enter, how do you know that the data
is complete?

Another consideration is that you might want to Backspace to
correct a typo or maybe hit Escape to undo what you've typed
so you can start over.
