Auto archive not auto-archiving

I've turned autoarchive on for one folder (my spam folder) with deletion
after one day. It just isn't doing anything- the messages stay there forever.
I've set archiving in 'properties' for that folder. In the general archive
under 'tools-options-other', I have 'run archive' set for every day. Any
ideas??

If you have ever manually tested your archival process, you will need to
reset the way that archival runs.

1. Open the File menu and select Archive
2. Verify that the process is set to "Archive all folders according to their
AutoArchive settings"
