Hi
i set all my databases to auto compact on exit. i came across a huge
problem. (i think i once read some solution to this problem). there was an
existing db1 in the same directory. i think that it was there as a result of
an error that happened during compacting. so MyDatabase1.mdb shut down there
was an error. later i shut down MyDatabas2.mdb which is located in the same
directory it backed up and some how got the information of MyDatabase1.mdb. i
think that it was passed through db1.mdb. would anybody know how to avoid
this issue. specifically, i would like to know how i can set up the default
name when the compacting takes place. it would be nice to be able to name
each compacting database to some like compact_MyDatabase1.mdb
thanks,
sam
