Auto complete date is wrong

Hello all,

I have Office 2000 installed on a PC with Windows 2000. The problem is when
Word's auto complete comes up it shows the wrong date. I checked the time,
date, and time zone for the PC. It's all correct. Any ideas on why this is
happening and how to fix it?

Thanks,
Debo

Perhaps you are using the wrong region on your computer and so the
"month" and "day" are reversed so it "appears" wrong to you?

Yeah I thought so too but that was one of the first things I checked. Its set
to eastern standard time and the auto text is set to the proper format
Example "May 1, 2008". The problem is the date appears one day behind if that
helps any.

Thanks,

Found out the issue. The user was leaving Word open over night and when they
came in the next day word held the previous days date in memory. The fix was
to have the user close word and reopen it and the autocomplete date was
correct.

Thanks again
