Thanks Russ, very useful.

Rename your NK2 file to match your new profile, then replace the existing
NK2 file with your old, renamed file. Details here:

I've deleted an autofill email 5 times now. I've typed the name of the
person followed by CTRL +K and it finds the new email address and underlines.

After restarting the PC & outlook the old email shows up, I have to scroll
down and delete again and again again.

Any ideas why the new email address isn't taking to the cache?

Ingressor says:

The fix for this type of problem is very simple. Inside of Outlook, when
you begin typing that recipient's name, you will notice a drop down list
appear. Scroll down and highlight the unwanted entry and press the delete
button. This will permanently remove the unwanted entry from the
autocomplete cache.

I'm not familiar with the CTRL+K procedure that you're using. I'd suggest simply
using Ingressor's recommended method for deletion.

If you download and install the demo version of Ingressor you'll be able to view
the contents of your NK2 file...saves you from guessing what's there.

In order to verify that the NK2 file can receive a new entry, try this: Open a
message and enter (e-mail address removed) in the To field and then click on Tools >
Check Names. This should enter the new address in the NK2 file. Close Outlook
then launch Ingressor to view the contents of your file.
