auto-completion

A similar question was posted recently, however I have one
that I would love answered.

The auto completion of email addresses allows me to enter
part of an address and then the remainder are shown
automatically allowing me to select which one I want.

Is it possible for me to clean this list of names in the
list. I have addresses that I will never use again.

In searching the newsgroup, I came across the answer to
your question. If you use the arrow keys to navigate your
list of completions, you can hit the delete key to remove
unwanted entries.

I didn't see an answer to my question, can you tell me
where it was or when?
