Hello,
I have been troubleshooting Auto-Correct problem for my director for days
without any success. Hope someone on this forum could assist to resolve
this problem.
User is running Office XP/2002 on a Windows XP Pro PC. User tried to save
words to the Auto-Correct list and the tool works and words get saved until
the PC is rebooted. Once rebooted, all the newly created words on the list
is gone. I checked the MSO1033 acl file's properties under user's profile
BEFORE rebooting, it showed the correct modified date after he added new
words to the AutoCorrect list. After rebooting the above acl file shows it
was modified on Jan. 19th, 2004.
BTW, I did the Windows updates, installed Office XP SP1 & SP2 and repair MS
Word and still getting the same results. Strange things is if I logged in
as another user the words were saved and the MSO1033.acl file also shows the
correct modified date.
Thanks in advance for your help.
