Auto Correct Entries in OneNote 2003

I have shortcuts to symbols set up in auto correct. Everytime I close out
the program and then restart it, I lose the ability to insert my symbols with
auto correct. The shortcuts to the symbols are still on the auto correct
list. In order to get it to insert the symbols, I have to delete the
shortcut entry and then click on the add button to bring it back to the list.
It will then work and continue to work until I shut down OneNote, but the
same problem occurs the next time I start up the program. Any suggestions?
