Auto Correct

Hello! Friends

I am using Office 2003. Why some Auto Correct that I assign (e.g. x=explain)
will not take effect when I key "x", while other assignments can?

Is there a limit in the number of auto-correct entries we can assign?

I see no reason why the entry you are describing shouldn't work properly.
Are you sure that it has been correctly saved?

Also, note that AutoCorrect entries are language-specific. Make sure that
the correct language is applied to text.

Thanks for your reply.

I think it might have something to do with the memory. When I shut down and
reboot the computer, it works again.

Hope you could share this with others who have a similar issue.
