Auto date field in Word (& input mask)

Hi all

Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to have an automatic date
field in a Word table (as in Access & Excel)? I just want a particular
column to input the date when the previous cell is populated). An
input mask in the previous cell would be helpful too!
