Hello,
I have a form that I want today's date to automatically fill in, but when opened anytime in the future, I want to date to not change every time the form is opened after that. I just want the original date to stay the same....I hope I have made sense? Any help would be appreciated.

You can enter the current date in a cell by pressing ctrl; (control semi
colon). If you use the formula =now(), as you discovered it will recalculate
each time the sheet is opened or saved. So, you can use =Now(), but upon
filling the form for the first time, copy the cell, and paste-special-values
to delete the formula and leave the date intact. Or, you can have the date
inserted by an XLM macro when the form is opened the first time.
