auto-deleting a value

I have a report that lists phone numbers called and how
many times they were dialed--I need to exclude a
particular frequently called phone number from being able
to appear as part of the report. Anyone know how this is
done?

Autofilter it and choose custom / not equal to 'your number'

Doesn't delete it but will hide it. If you really want to delete it then do the reverse and
filter on that number, select all the numbers, do edit / Go To / Visible cells only, then do Edit
/ Delete Entire Row

did you select your number from the dropdown or type it in.

Try selecting it from the dropdown.


As a test, select the dropdown and select you number directly - don't go to
the custom choice. Only the rows with your number should be visible.
