Auto-Dial in Outlook 2003 on PBX System?

Hello-

Could someone provide directions on how to configure Outlook 2003 to
auto-dial with my offices PBX system? Is it as hard as it appears?

Is there a way to do it without a 3rd party phone software?

I understand I need a TAPI driver but that's about it. Thanks in advance.
