I operate Access 2002 and have placed an auto dialler button on a form.
I place the cursor in the field containing the number I want to call
I click the Auto Dialler button
The small auto dialer window appears showing the number and below "OK"
"Cancel" and "Set Up" buttons
I press "OK"
Then I have to wait 30 seconds for the grey Preview and Phone Call boxes to
appear and for dialling to start.
These boxes appear at the top left of the screen.
(Sometimes the boxes appear quickly but there is then a 30 sec wait for
dialling to start)
I notice that the dialling sound is coming from a small speaker at the back
of my computer.
When I pick up the phone and click "talk" on the pop up Call Status window
the sounds are routed thru my phone.
Then I get connected OK
However I still have to close the Preview and Phone Call boxes. Also a
Phone Dialler window has to be closed.
Please advise how I can eliminate the 30 sec delay and avoid having to close
down so may boxes/windows at the end.
My phone is connected to a SupraExpress 56i modem on COM 3.
