Auto Expand and Input Masks in a Combo Box?

My users reported an apparent glitch when they tried to enter a tax-id into a
combo box...Limit To List is "No", Auto-Expand is "Yes", but the whole field
is filled after the first character that matches...

I played around a bit this morning, and it seems that as soon as I put any
input mask on the combo box the auto-expand no longer works correctly.

Has anyone else ever noticed this, or have a work-around? A2K...
