I am somewhere between a beginner-intermediate user of Access. I am
currently using Access 2000. I do not know any VBA (or any programming
whatsoever).
I have a form created with 2 subforms. My main form gives basic policy
information for the 173 policies we have. The main form and subform are
created from separate queries.
My first subform has a series of fields that have dates (these are dates
that a policy has been reviewed, edited, approved...this type of thing).
On the second subform I have another field where, if a policy has been
reviewed or edited or approved...then this field should have the current year
added.
My question is, is there anyway to have the year fill in automatically to
the current year if there are any entries entered onto the second subform?
(ie, if a policy has a date entered into the reviewed field on the 1st
subform, can there be a switch or something that will automatically enter in
the current year on the 2nd subform in the year field?).
Thank you much,
