auto fillin box for e-mail show deleted addresses ... how do I get rid of them?

I go to create a new e-mail (with Outlook 2007) and fill in the 'To' field
with one alpha character. I see a drop down box (to speed things along) but
at least one of those 'suggestions' is not valid; that particular address
does not exist. It did exist at one time though.

How do I flush out those helpful though inaccurate\old e-mail addresses?

Posted on a daily basis.
Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field.
To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:
