Auto filling a text box in a form

I need suggestions on how to autofill a text box with
existing info in a table. Any help would be appreciated.

A bit more info. about relevant Tables / Fields / Queries and the set-up of
your Form would help.

Are you using bound Form?

Which existing info? A Field Value? A combination of Field values? Something
else???

I have a database with carrier info. When the user enters
the carrier into the form that enters the data into the
table I want the user to enter one letter that is
relevant to the carrier info that is already in the table
and it will autofill the text box without having to enter
the rest of the text.
