auto formatting disabled?

Hi I've created a custom form on a public calendar
(calendar as a public folder) and one of the users
couldn't auto format hers. when she right clicks on the
calendar or choose automatic formatting from the menu, it
was disabled. I've tried creating a custom view that
enables everyone to see the automatic formatting on that
public calendar folder, but it still doesn't work for
her. She couldn't see the auto formatting I made in the
same view. Automatic formatting would be enabled for the
two views I've created but it doesn't work still
(formatting wouldn't stay ). The other users could format
the calendar alright. What is the cause of this? The
custom form was made in Outlook 2002 so there should be
no problem? Thanks
