Auto formatting inserting unwanted commas

E

Elridge

I have a Data Entry form that keeps adding unwanted commas to one of the
fields.

For example if I enter 1111 within the field, it gets autoformatted to
1,111. How do i turn this off?

Also, I am not able to edit the "format" of the data in the properties
dialog box for this field as it is grayed out.

Any insight / advise is greatly appreciated.

Hi Eldridge,

Typically you would change how a number is displayed by using the "Format"
button on the control. However, regardless of how I build an InfoPath
solution I have that button available.

How did you build your form? What is the data source? If you create a new
test form from the same data source, is the "Format" button available? If
you create a test form from the Northwind sample database (specifically the
Orders table) is the Format button available on the OrderID field?
