Hi...
We have a Nortel CallPilot 100...and all our voicemail come into our
email boxes in Outlook using a custom IMAP server, and custom message
forms.
When a new voicemail comes in and you open it, it opens in a Nortel
custom form called IPM.Note.CallPilot.Voice
It works fine, however wed like to auto-forward the emails from the
IMAP account, to our Exchange accounts. When you manually forward an
email, it opens using the IPM.Note.CallPilot.Voice form...if the
person you're sending to doesn't have the Nortel software, it
automatically converts the voicemail to a WAV file before it sends.
This works great if you manually press the forward button.
We'd like to automate this process, so I tried using a Rule to forward
all new emails to an external account.
When I create the rule to forward (through the account on local
machine), the rule doesn't appear to actually run. Nothing happens.
If I remove the "through this account on local machine" part of the
rule, and run it manually on the CallPilot Inbox folder, I get "The
custom form cannot be opened. Outlook will use an Outlook form
instead. The object does not support the requested action." error,
and the emails get forwarded, but not processed by the custom form.
Is there a way to manually create a forward script that will use the
CallPilot form?
Thanks.
