Auto Number Lables?

G

Gary

Hello

I use MS Word 2000.

I print business cards 16 up, on a page 205mm x 510mm, 2 wide.

I need to be able to setup a label print where Word will print numbers 1 to
16 on the first sheet of labels, 17 to 32 on the second, and so on.

I can not get the 'Labels' set up to accept a customer page size and have
not found a way of label numbering automatically?

Can Word 2000 do this and if so how? If not, does anyone have a suggestion
as to how I can acheive this?

Many thanks
Gary

Hi Greg, thanks for the link, very helpful.

But, it doesnt help with setting the page size when creating labels.

TOOLS > MAIL MERGE > (Main Doc) SETUP > DETAILS > PAPER SIZE. Only lists
standard sizes, can I have a custom size here?

Many thanks

Labels in Word are just tables with fixed cell dimensions. So you may need
to start with a custom paper size set under Page Setup, then set the top and
left margins to suit your label stock and then create a table with the
required number of rows and columns with the cells dimensions set to match
the size of the labels.
