Auto page breaks

Hi, all,

Can someone tell me how to adjust or remove the automatic
page breaks? They are correctly spaced, but the first one
is about half way down the first page, making them all
out of whack. I am doing an outline and it looks good in
outline view, but in print view there's a giant gap at
the bottom of the page. In normal view, there is that
dotted line where the gap starts in print view. Help
files tell me to select it and move it or delete it, but
it is not selectable. Please help.

You need to find out what text is moving to the next page. The usual reason
is too many paragraphs formatted as "Keep with next." If you're creating
your outline with Word's built-in heading styles, then that's certainly the
case, since they all include that property by default.

Thanx for your help, Suzanne. Can you tell me how to
reformat the heading styles? I've been to the formatting
pane, but can't find a "keep with next" property.
Selecting text in the outline and going to the format
menu doesn't work because the paragraph item is
unavailable.
Thanx,

Sean
