auto pasting / can't get a clean new page

I copied and pasted the text of an email msg onto word.
That document was not saved, only printed and cancelled.
After installing new MS patch updates (I closed all
programs before doing so), now everytime I try to open a
new page in word, that email msg appears. How do I get
rid of it??? Thank you!
