Hello!
I was a pretty savvy user of Access about 10 years ago but am struggling to
remember how I did all those savvy things! So, hoping somewhere here can
help.
I have a form called ProjectUpdate. I would like for a user to open the
ProjectUpdate form and in the ProjectID field select the project they would
like to update from a combo box. Once selected, I would like for all the
other corresponding fields to on the form the relate to the project chosen.
Right now on the form, if I select a project from the combo box, the project
name changes in the combo box but all of the other corresponding fields don't
change to reflect details from that project. For example, when the form
first opens, the project name is ABC and all other text fields on the form
relate to project ABC. In the combo box if I choose project XYZ, the details
from project ABC remain in the text fields/boxes as opposed to updating with
XYZ details.
If someone could guide me in generally how to go about doing this, I would
be most appreciatve!
Best regards,
Jenn
