auto-populate a table?

I want to design a table with two fields. Field 1 is a number and Field 2
is a date/time field. Field 1 is merely a shortened version of Field 2 that
I use to conserve keystrokes. Example:
Field 1 Field 2
7 7:00 am
715 7:15 am
730 7:30 am
etc.

(Using this "conversion" table, I can simply type in "7" and it will store
as 7:00 am. Fortunately, all the times I need are within a 12-hour period,
so I'll never need a 7:00 pm.)

Now, being the lazy person that I am, I'd like to automatically populate
this table, or at least Field 2, in 5 minute intervals from 7:00 am through
6:55 pm, without having to manually enter all those times.

Can it be done and how? Is it possible to do it first in Excel and then
inport the table?
