Auto Recover

I want to recover a file I lost but when I click on it, the file appears, but
then an error appears saying: Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\WINWORD.EXE


This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.

I'm having the same error message when trying to start any Office XP
application. The problem seems to have started after installing Acrobat 7.0
Standard...
