Auto reminders sent to Meeting Attendees

Is it possible for Outlook to automatically send out "reminders" to meeting attendees (maybe 12 hours in advance)?

Set a reminder on the meeting request before you send it out. Of course the
users must be running Outlook at the time the reminder would fire.
