Auto Repaginate in Word for OS X

Is there a way to have word set to automatically repaginate for every
file I open? As it is now I cannot set preferences to auto repaginate
unless I have a file open. I would much rather have it set to always
repaginate. I know you can change the page view, but I prefer not to
have it set that way.
