Auto Reply email

I've been using macs for years, and this may seem like a stupid question, but how do you set up an auto-reply email?
I'm going to be out of town for a few days, with no internet access, and I need my clients to know that I'm gone and who to contact...help! :)

Which version of Office? In 2008 there's a menu item 'Out of Office...'
under the tools menu. For earlier versions the answer depends on what type
of account you are using.

it is 2008...and I know it's usually under Tools, then Rules, but from there I'm lost.

Hi Ellen!

Are you using an Exchange account or an ISP's POP or IMAP account?

If you're using Exchange then use Entourage 2008's new Out of Office…
feature found under the Tools menu.

If you're using an ISP's POP or IMAP account then check its website for
autorepsond tools that you can use to reply to messages without needing
to set a rule in Entourage and and keep it running. Many large ISPs
offer this feature.

Hope this helps!
