Auto reply rule working but only sends the email once to same acco

Hy all,

I have a Auto reply rule setup, its works but if I send a email from e.g.
(e-mail address removed) the auto reply gets sent but if I send the same email to the
same address I dont get the autoreply. It seems the autoreply only sends once
to the same address, is there a way I can force it to send the autoreply
everytime someone emails the accout. Even if its from the same email accout.
Thanks....

No. The "one reply per sender" rule is by design -- it's there to prevent
endless mail loops from occurring if both sides have automatic reply rules
active.

Do you know how long it is until it will reply to the same email account? I'm
assming there is a time set.
Thanks!

There is no time set. You'd have to disable the rule and then reenable it to
restart the process.

Thanks,
Does anyone know a way around this? It looks like I would have to re-start
outlook to have it reply to the same user more than once. What we are trying
to set up is an auto reply to customers that write in for tech support. We
want the reply to let them know we got their email and are working on it..
BUT we don't want to reply to another autoreply system.(can't set a server
rule) It would be nice if there was some option to reset the people that
outlook will reply to after a minute or something. That way if the customer
writes in more than once per day they would still get a response, but if an
auto-reply sends back...it wouldn't. Anyone know a way around this, or a
different client that could do what we are looking for? Thanks!!

Check http://www.slipstick.com/addins/auto.htm and see if any of the 3rd
party programs listed there might meet your needs.
