Hi.
I have Outlook 2000 running on a windows 2000 server with exchange
5.5.
I'm trying to set up an auto-response using the rules wizard in
outlook 2000. Exchange server is configured to allow auto-responses
via the internet and outlook is constantly running to enable
client-side rules to perform.
I have the following rule:
"Apply this rule after the message arrives
with (e-mail address removed) in the recipients address
reply using <auto-reply template.oft>"
During the initial test i sent an email to (e-mail address removed) and received
a reply as expected. However, subsequent tests from numerous other
mail accounts yeilded no response.
The reply seemed to work when using OoOA but I do not wish to appear
that there is no one in the office!! just a little note to say "we are
dealing with your request.. blah blah".
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
