Auto savel Excel file at specified time

Hi, Excel Guru:
how to trigger the excel to save master workbook file at specified time, say
everyday midnight, with the datetimestamp at excel file name
1> no need open the saved new file
2> Master file will not allowed to closed due to pulling data though DDE link

Is the master file always going to be open?, if its recieving data ho
is the workbook/worksheet refreshed to show that data? do you hav
