Auto Suggest Names

I have been using the same outlook/email address for years but i have logged
on today and found that none of my email contacts that i have emailed in past
dont appear in any new emails i create so i have to enter the email in full.

It seems like i have lost all my email contacts history. Any email
addresses i enter today store, but none of my old email contacts appear in
the auto suggest field.

any idea's?

Sounds like you had a corrupt nk2-file (which is the cache file).
You might be able to restore it from backup.
If you don't have a backup; it's just a cache. It will build itself quickly
enough again if you email a lot. In the mean time, use CTRL+K to resolve the
names from your Address Book after typing a few letters.
